The United Nations University, Project on Sustainable Transformation Beyond 2015 and the Earth System Governance Project, 2014, have recently released two interesting and timely policy briefings.
The first is entitled ‘Earth System Challenges and a Multi-Layered Approach for the Sustainable Development Goals’. This brief highlights the urgency with which the SDGs must approach the interconnected challenges posed by poverty, food and water security, health and Earth system processes.
